All of our paints are water based and do not contain solvents which are harmful to the environment. Craig & Rose, our chosen manufacturing partner, achieved ISO14001 environmental management accreditation in 2007. We measure and monitor all our environmental impact and comply with all current UK legislation. We are committed to actively reducing its environmental impact year on year and works with a number of organisations to reduce waste and the depletion of natural resources.
Environmental sustainability is a fundamental principle for our business, and is reflected in everything we do. Each tin of paint is made to order and delivered directly to our customers. There is no wastage, warehousing, unnecessary transport or disposal of unsold product. Our whole business model is focused on eliminating waste and reducing emissions all the way from the factory to the consumer.
The way paint is currently sold and bought is a waste. Millions of tonnes are sent to landfill every year in their expensive packaging, because up until now colour selection has been massively inefficient.
Most consumers still choose paint by going to a shop and picking up a colour card for ready mixed paint, either from brands or retailers’ own label ranges. For the past 40 years, paint vendors have encouraged consumers to buy tester pots to see the colour on their wall before making a a final decision. All of these non pots and remains of paint end up in landfill.
We have solved this problem with the unique iPatch colour test system. The sample of real paint is delivered to your door in an envelope. No expensive packaging. No short shelf life. It can be used and re-used, in and around corners, and even in shops to check against other products. The major technical innovation is delivering real paint as an endlessly reusable patch; the idea is that people can then choose and buy, online, just the paint they want.
We offer a full refund or replacement warranty if the product is substandard in any way. Environmental sustainability is a fundamental principle for our business, and is reflected in everything we do. Each tin of paint is made to order and delivered directly to our customers. There is no wastage, warehousing, unnecessary transport or disposal of unsold product. Therefore we do not accept returns of unused product. Our whole business model is focused on eliminating waste and reducing emissions.
